Scholarship "Dessislava Gavrailova"

Dessislava Gavrailova*,  conductor and vocal coach, has donated 200 leva to cover the participation fee of one active participant in the Master class of conducting this year. Everyone who need financial support may apply until 20 of May.

*Dessislava Gavrailova graduated  at Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, Plovdiv, Bulgaria as part of  the conducting classes of prof. Ivan Spassov, Tsvetana Vasilkova and Ognyan Vasilev as well as the piano class of prof. George Petrov.  After that she became principal conductor of mixed choir "Rodna pesen" and "Collegium Musicum" in Haskovo where she also founded a children's choir. Dessislava participated in numerous of festivals and won prizes at national and international competitions these three choirs at the 90's.

In François Rabelais University of Tours, France she specialize French language and civilization. After that Gavrailova lived and worked in China where she became respected piano teacher and choir's consultant for French choir literature and French  diction. Her students are alumni of the most renowned music academies of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. 

  

After her establishment in Canada in 2002 she started pedagogical career which continue until now. In the last 10 years she teaches at University of Alberta ( French campus) and lead courses in Concordia University and also share experience with students, choirs and opera singers.

Scholarship "Ivan Ivanchev"

 Ivan Ivanchev is Bulgarian pianist, piano teacher and choir conductor who is living and working in Norway since many years.His pupils are laureates from many national and international piano competitions. As accompanist his is often invited to work in different churches and with different choirs. In Bulgaria he worked as assistant to the most distinguished choir conductors.

Ivan Ivanchev will donate 200 leva to one participant in order to cover his/her expenses during the course.Everyone who need financial support may apply until 20 of May.
